Job Description: Security Officer – Falcon Team

Job Purpose

The Security Officer (Falcon Team) will be responsible for conducting regular and surprise audits across company stations to monitor operational integrity, ensure compliance with company policies, and identify potential fraud, theft, or misconduct. The officer will play a key role in promoting discipline, transparency, and accountability across all operational levels.

Key Responsibilities

·       Conduct routine and surprise inspections at assigned stations to assess operational compliance and detect any irregularities or fraudulent activities.

·       Monitor staff conduct and adherence to company procedures, code of ethics, and operational standards.

·       Prepare and submit comprehensive audit and incident reports detailing findings, risks, and recommended corrective actions.

·       Investigate cases of fraud, theft, or misconduct in coordination with management and other relevant departments.

·       Verify cash handling, stock management, and transaction records at stations to ensure accuracy and accountability.

·       Provide security intelligence and situational reports to management on potential risks or emerging threats.

·       Assist in the implementation of security policies and compliance measures to safeguard company assets and personnel.

·       Support the training and sensitization of staff on compliance, ethical conduct, and operational best practices.

·       Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all investigations and reports.

·       Use company-provided motorcycles to conduct field visits safely and efficiently.

Qualifications and Experience

·       Minimum of a Diploma in Security Management, Criminology, Law Enforcement, or a related field.

·       Prior experience in military, police, or professional security services (highly preferred).

·       At least 2 years of experience in a similar compliance, security, or audit role.

·       Strong investigative, analytical, and reporting skills.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

·       Proven ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

·       Must hold a valid motorcycle driving license (Category A).

Compensation

Take-Home Salary: Between RWF 400,000 – 500,000 (based on experience and performance).
