Partnerships Manager – Job Description

Role: Partnerships Manager

Department: Partnership
Reports To: Head of Commercial
Location: Kigali

Purpose:
Lead the company’s partnership strategy, building strong and sustainable relationships with corporate, government, and community partners to drive sales, expand reach, and enhance the company’s brand presence.

Key Responsibilities:

          Identify, negotiate, and close high-value partnerships with strategic organizations.

          Manage and grow existing partner relationships to maximize mutual value.

          Lead partnership-driven marketing initiatives and co-branded campaigns.

          Coordinate with internal teams to deliver on partner commitments.

          Track, analyze, and report on partnership performance.

          Represent the company at industry events, networking forums, and high-level meetings.

Qualifications:

          Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).

          Minimum 6 years of business development/partnerships experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.

          Proven success in securing and managing large-scale B2B or B2G partnerships.

          Strong existing network in corporate and government sectors.

Competencies:

          High-level networking and relationship management skills.

          Exceptional negotiation and presentation abilities.

          Strategic thinker with a growth mindset.

          Ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver on partnership objectives.
