POSITION: Storekeeper
SECTOR: Hospitality.
LOCATION: Kigali, Rwanda.
The Storekeeper is responsible for managing the inventory and ensuring the safe and efficient storage of goods. These includes maintaining accurate stock records, organizing inventory, and ensuring timely restocking of supplies. The Storekeeper ensures that goods are stored properly and are easily accessible, contributing to the smooth operation of the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Receive, inspect, and record goods delivered to the store, ensuring they match the purchase order and quality standards.
✅ Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient storage and easy access to items.
✅ Maintain accurate stock records, including quantities, storage locations, and expiration dates where applicable.
✅ Monitor stock levels and reorder supply as necessary to prevent shortages.
✅ Conduct regular stock checks, physical counts, and reconcile discrepancies with inventory records.
✅ Coordinate with supervisor to ensure timely stock replenishment and avoid delays in operations.
✅ Maintain a clean and organized storage area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
✅ Monitor the expiration dates of perishable items and ensure they are used or disposed of before they expire.
✅ Assist in the preparation of reports on inventory levels, stock movement, and order trends.
✅ Receiving and inspecting incoming goods to ensure they match purchase orders, quality standards, and are in good condition.
✅ Organizing and storing goods in designated areas, ensuring easy access and proper storage to prevent damage.
✅ Monitoring stock levels and ensuring timely restocking of supplies, such as food, beverages, and cleaning materials.
✅ Conducting regular stock takes and reconciliations to ensure inventory records match physical stock.
✅ Managing the issuance of supplies to various hotel departments (kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance, etc.) as per requests.
✅ Assisting in the preparation of inventory reports and tracking of stock movements.

1. Educational Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma, with a preference for a diploma or degree in Hospitality Management.
Relevant Experience:
Experience: 1-3 years in inventory, stock management, or warehousing, ideally in the hospitality sector
